The Year of The Tiger: 1968 Opening Reception

Fri., April 20, 6 p.m.
,

OK. So, the Detroit Tigers are off to a rocky season, but let’s take it back to 1968 — “the comeback season.” The assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Vietnam War were among two pivotal events that would shape the nation the same year the Detroit Tigers won the World Series Championship. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the team’s historic win, The Year of the Tiger: 1968 aims to tell the tale of how a baseball victory gave Detroit something to celebrate despite the turbulent national climate $75-$100

Horse Yoga Workshop

Sat., May 5, 2:30 p.m.

Horse Yoga isn’t about sitting on your horse, twisting into a pretzel. It is about connecting with them in a deeper way, and allowing them to teach you how to be in the present moment. Yoga requires focus and breathing - neither of which can be accomplished when your mind is on auto-pilot. The beautiful thing about doing yoga with your equine partner is they will give you immediate feedback the moment your mind wanders or you stop consciously breathing. Join us for this amazing opportunity to connect on a different level. $65-$70
