4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince

Fri., Sept. 28, 8 p.m.

The untimely death of icon Prince Rogers Nelson has left a Corvette-sized hole in our collective hearts. The last time Prince performed in Detroit he took to the Fox Theatre stage for a sold-out performance announced just days before as part of his Hit and Run Tour. Fittingly, just three years later, the only Prince Estate-approved tribute will honor the Purple One on the same stage. 4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince will draw from his extensive music catalog as performed by a full symphony orchestra, as curated by Prince superfan, Questlove, along with a live band accompanied by archival photos and video footage. $29.50+
