Holiday Events Next 30 Days in Detroit

Santa will be making his grand arrival to The Village on Friday, November 17 during the annual Light The Village event and will continue to make weekly appearances through Christmas Eve. Santa also plans to bring some of his furry friends with him on some of his visits. During Santa’s visits, guests can visit Santa’s Snug in Festival Park where they will be able to meet and take photos with Santa in a beautiful cozy outdoor winter setting. Don’t forget to bring your letters for Santa with you and place them in the mailbox next to the Santa’s Snug.

A unique double feature movie premiere with Q&A at Emagine Novi featuring HALLOWEEN (1978) and HALLOWEEN (2018), starting at 7:00 p.m. A Q&A session with James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle, moderated by Anthony LaVerde, CEO of Emagine Entertainment, and Jay Towers from WNIC-FM, will take place between the screenings. Saturday, May 4th – Meet and greet session at Screamers Costumes, with autographs and photo opportunities. James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle will be at the Screamers Costumes Store, located at 35431 Gratiot Ave., Clinton Township. Attendees can get autographs, selfie photos, and a special HALLOWEEN themed photo with both actors. Doors open at 10:00 a.m., with payments accepted onsite via cash or credit card.
