The “Strides for Seniors” Walk & Expo supports Detroit’s neighborhood senior centers. One and three mile walks start at 11 AM and there’s also a hustle dance option. All registration fees and pledges help fund services for older adults – meals and nutrition, health and wellness, dance and exercise, transportation and advocacy, and many social activities. The Expo – from 9 AM to 11 AM – showcases vendors, centers and health care providers that assist seniors and their caregivers.
