For nearly a decade, Detroit photographer Steve Andre has traveled to Ukraine documenting the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone and recently his interests have taken him to Donetsk, Donbas and Luhansk in East Ukraine where he has documented the lives of Ukrainians defending their borders.
