Do you love to write? One Earth Writing Summer Camps connect teens through interactive activities and writing prompts. Campers explore writing through the genres of poetry, prose, and narrative nonfiction. The camps will take place July 9-12 and July 16-19; the first week is a Sports Writing Camp, while the second week is devoted for Food Writing. Camp is in session 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wayne State University’s campus, with guest speakers (including local journalists and entrepreneurs), hands-on activities, writing workshops, and a culminating performance of their work. Lunch is included in camp costs. $385
