We will have Santa in the house to take photos with your canine friends from 9:30-11:30 am. Drop in and have a fun holiday experience with your pooch! For $5 - You can take your own photos of your dog with Santa, using a cell phone or personal camera. For $10 - Our photographer will take a photo of your dog for you and email you a hi-res digital file. For $15 - Our photographer will take a photo of your dog for you, and we will mail a 5x7 print to you, as well as email you a file $5-$15 depending on photo package

Grosse Pointe Theatre will present “A Golden Age Holiday" gala benefit performance and silent auction, on Sunday, Dec. 16. This one night only magical holiday experience, supporting Grosse Pointe Theatre's performing arts program, will include a strolling cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception; an exciting silent auction and raffle with high-end experiences and a variety of special themed-packages; and a musical performance by some of Grosse Pointe Theatre's most gifted stars. Get a glimpse into the society scene of the 1960s as the Fords’ historic home is authentically decorated as it was during the glittering holiday receptions Mrs. Eleanor Ford hosted to honor her granddaughters in the ‘60s, each celebrating her debutante season. On a ‘Holiday Belles’ tour, hear stories of these grand receptions. Admire the fresh mix of traditional holiday décor and twists like spring colors, beautifully re-created from archival photos -- including Christmas trees suspended from the ceiling! Clutch & Throttle will host a holiday toy drive now through Dec. 31. The shop will accept donations of NEW toys at its store. All items collected will be donated to local nonprofit Brilliant Detroit. Brilliant Detroit’s wish list includes a wide variety of gifts: skateboards, sports equipment, learning electronics, art sets, puzzles, Legos, Barbie Dolls, Playdough and accessories, card games, play home equipment and winter clothing. All items must be new and in original packaging. Brilliant Detroit provides a radically new approach to kindergarten readiness in neighborhoods and create a unique delivery model for early childhood development.
