Detroit’s legendary harbinger of doom, the Nain Rouge, is back at it, spreading #FakeNews about the city. Anyone can be part of the parade and show him your city pride. Just show up, wear a costume -- dress as weird and wonderful as you like -- and join the marching bands, art cars, and merry makers. Entertainment at noon. Parade starts at 1 p.m. free

17th Annual Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade

Sun., March 25, 3-6 p.m.

The annual Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade is set for Sunday, March 25 at 3 PM in historic Greektown Detroit. Come celebrate Greece and Greek-American culture with traditional food, costumes and music while watching a one of the largest Greek parades in the United States. The family-friendly parade features traditional Greek dancers and musicians, handmade floats by local schools and businesses, a variety of church and non-profit groups, collegiate groups, characters from The Parade Company’s Big Head Corp., and more!
