WHAT: The 4th Annual Metro D 10 Alarm Chili Challenge returns for another year and at a new location. Fire and police departments from all over the metro Detroit area will face off in the ultimate chili cook-off. Proceeds from the event will support the Detroit Firemen’s Fund as well as the Detroit Benefit and Protective Association. The public is invited to attend, sample, and vote for their favorite recipe.
WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 Noon – 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Back alley space behind Dino’s Lounge & Jay’s Penalty Box 22740 Woodward Ave., Ferndale, MI. 48220 COST: $10 donation at the door to support the Detroit Firemen’s Fund & Detroit Benefit and Protective Association
DETAILS: Teams from Detroit Fire and Police Departments will enter their best chili recipe, and participants will have the opportunity to sample and vote for Detroit’s Best First-Responder Chili Champion 2017.
"When one of our first responders dies in this new Detroit, the widow…widower gets the bill. Great shame,” said LeDuff. “Come help us support the bravest and finest and have a great time doing it.”
WHO: Several fire and police departments from the metro-Detroit area along with LeDuff, Keros and Bach have joined together to make this event possible.
