27th Annual Historic Indian Village Yard Sale Staff Pick

When: Sat., Sept. 10, 9 a.m. and Sun., Sept. 11, 10 a.m. 2016
If you tremble with excitement at the thought of exploring Detroit’s beautiful old mansions, then this neighborhood-wide garage sale is for you. Now, we’re not saying you’re going to get to barge into every house that’s selling old stuff in their driveway, but you’ll get a closer look at these character-filled homes than you otherwise would. Plus, you know the people who live their have a ton of awesome old stuff to get rid of. The neighborhood is seven blocks long, bordered by Iroquois, Burns, and Seminole streets from East Jefferson to Mack Avenue. Antiques, collectibles, pottery, silver, dinnerware, paintings, rugs, hardware, records, and more will all be for sale. Runs from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday;
