26 Detroit-area spots serving food on Thanksgiving Day in 2019

Don't want to cook? You don't have to! These restaurants are making Thanksgiving less stressful by offering brunches, dinners, or buffets so you don't have to spend the day toiling away in the kitchen.

Detroit Zen Center

For Thanksgiving, Detroit Zen Center is featuring an organic, vegan, and farm-to-table buffet and fundraiser. The event is reservation only, and all tickets cost $35.

The Whitney

The Whitney is serving its annual Thanksgiving meal in its beautifully built interior. A three-course meal, consisting of a traditional whole turkey and a selection of sides and appetizers, including “leftovers” to take home in a box! Prices vary for adults, but kids ten and under eat for $29.

The Henry, Autograph Collection

The Autograph Collection is located in the beautiful and historic dining area of The Marriott in Dearborn. A full course Thanksgiving meal with choices of sides and dessert will be served. The meal costs $58.80 per person, or $32 for children ages 4 to 12.

Texas de Brazil

Pilgrim meets Texan meets Brazillian at Texas de Brazil. Opening at 11 a.m., this eatery will feature its regular dinner menu alongside classic Thanksgiving favorites. All meals are available for takeout, if you prefer Thanksgiving at home.

Simple Palate

Simple Palate’s Thanksgiving includes a full lunch and dinner buffet available for patrons. There are three seatings at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4 p.m. Guests will have two hours to enjoy themselves.

Shinola Hotel

San Morello at Shinola Hotel will serve a three-course prix-fixe or à la carte dinner on Thanksgiving. The dinner will cost $85 per guest and will be served 12 to 9 p.m. San Morello will also serve breakfast à la carte from 7 to 11 a.m.
