Scream Out the Silence concert brings suicide awareness to Old Miami

The Scream Out the Silence: Suicide Awareness concert at the Old Miami has one mission — to get loud and help out. Hosted by newly formed Morris Choice Entertainment, the Scream Out concert will benefit Detroit nonprofit Six Feet Over, which provides survivors of suicide loss financial assistance as well as outreach programs, awareness, and other resources regarding suicide prevention. Lending their sounds to the cause are Honeybabe, the Idiot Kids, and ZZvava, as well as DJ Raphy.

Scream Out the Silence takes place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Old Miami; 3930 Cass Ave., Detroit; 313-831-3830; Cover is $5.
