Christina Aguilera — aka the voice of the TRL generation — hasn’t toured in a decade, and dare we say it’s been a rough six years since the release of her last record, Lotus. Funny how she drops from the scene (save a coaching stint on NBC’s The Voice) and the world goes to shit. Well, fam, your doomsday plans can wait, because Xtina is back.

Aguilera’s Liberation Tour finds the 37-year-old performer breathing new life into some iconic fan favorites like “Genie in a Bottle,” “Fighter,” and “Ain’t No Other Man.” All the while, Aguilera ushers in a whole new era of pop divadom fit for 2018.

Remember —Y'all "Beautiful" AF.

Christina Aguilera will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Fox Theatre; 2211 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-471-3200; 313presents.com; Tickets start at $85.
