It's hard to believe that it's already been three years since Marble Bar opened in the sleepy neighborhood of Northwest Goldberg. But after throwing dozens of parties and patio bangers ranging from soul to funk, electro to techno, it's easy to see how our memories could be a little blurry.

On Saturday, Sept. 22,  Marble Bar will be popping champagne in celebration of their three-year anniversary party featuring musical delights from one of the masters of funk himself, DāM-FunK. Performing a special DJ set, DāM-FunK will steer the party into outer space with support from Sadar Bahar, Ge-ology, Norm Talley, Andrés, Beige, and Nicole Misha.

Kicking off at 4 p.m., Marble Bar will be busting out the BBQ on the club's enviable patio to help set the stage for the evening of festivities. After sunset, the beats will get increasingly 4th dimensional, closing out after hours at 3 a.m.

The Marble Bar 3 Year Anniversary Party begins at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22 at Marble Bar; 1501 Holden St., Detroit; facebook.com/marblebardetroit; Tickets are $20+.
