Emcees like Ty Farris have always represented the best and rawest form of Detroit hip-hop, and being a veteran in the game hasn’t slowed him down one bit. The Detroit native has released a new single, "Tyrant Talk," a boom-bap flavored cut highlighted by a plethora of Farris’s punchline bars on battling haters and reminding fans he’s been one of the best behind the mic for years now.

"As long as I get the last punch than the violence stops/ whenever I step in the booth I make the climate hot, this a tyrant’s block," he raps in the first verse. "My clients cop 44s in corridors/ They might find ya’ body on an episode of Storage Wars." He closes out the cut with this gem: "I got a business mind, still keep the Glock close/ this Detroit, we dodge bullets more than potholes."

The track was produced by Stu Bangas and the video was shot by Kurt Norris. Ty Farris' album, No Cosign Just Cocaine 2 "Farris Wonder Drug" is out Friday, Aug. 10.
