Jill Scott will bring her R&B queen realness to the Fox Theatre this summer

Whether you're trying to get it on or take on the world, the stylings of R&B goddess Jill Scott make for the perfect soundtrack to any number of power moves.

The three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and acclaimed actress will bring her smooth and sultry sounds to the Fox Theatre on Sunday, June 24 at 8 p.m.

Best known for chart-topping tracks "Fool's Gold," "Back Together," and "Can't Wait," The "Live in The Moment" tour will explore the artist's five studio albums and her unparalleled charisma.

You might recognize Scott from Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married, Too? Most recently Scott appeared alongside Queen Latifah in the Lifetime network film Flint, about the Flint water crisis.

Tickets start at $49.75 and go on sale Friday, April 6 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at,, or at the Fox Theatre box office.
