Wizard of Oz takes over Fox Theatre

Click your heels and repeat after us: “There’s no place like the Fox. There’s no place like the Fox.”

Maybe you’re introducing a new generation of dreamers to the colorful enchantment of L. Frank Baum’s acid-drenched world, or perhaps you’re taking a trip down your own yellow brick memory lane. Either way, The Wizard of Oz remains the greatest family musical of all time. Take a journey into the heart of whimsy with a cast of unlikely heroes, and, of course, Dorothy and her little dog, too.

Performances are scheduled Saturday, November 25; 7:30 p.m., Sunday, November 26; 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; 2211 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-471-6611; olympiaentertainment.com; Tickets start at $26.50.
