Skylar Grey to play Chene Park Saturday as part of Fat Tire Presents Tour de Fat

Posted By on Fri, Aug 11, 2017 at 2:04 PM

A Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who also happens to be rap superstar Eminem’s right-hand woman, Skylar Grey is still rocking support for her 2016 release Natural Causes. Leave it to Grey to headline an event as wonderfully unconventional as she is — the “Fat Tire Presents Tour de Fat” rolls into the Motor City for its 18th season, this time donating proceeds to support Detroit’s own Slow Roll. The brewing company returns with its philanthropic circus complete with magicians, comedians, vaudeville acts, and beer… lots of beer. And of course, lady Grey.

Doors open at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 at Chene Park; 2600 Atwater St., Detroit; 313-393-0292; cheneparkdetroit.com; Tickets are $25.
