The Deftones and the Refused will play the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights on August 12. Tickets for the eardrum-crushing event will go on sale this Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m.

This show is part of a string that were just announced, which tack onto another bunch of gigs the band already revealed for summer. It's going to be a busy year for the beloved alt-metal Deftones, who are one of the most critically acclaimed heavy acts out there, and with good reason.
Thankfully for us, the supercharged, post-Fugazi sounds of the Refused will bolster the Deftones' nimble badassery.
