Show preview: Woolen Men with puppet show, tomorrow night at Elijah's

Posted By on Mon, Oct 12, 2015 at 5:32 PM

I don't quite understand how this is going to work, but the Woolen Men and Lame Drivers are playing tomorrow night at Elijah's in Hamtramck, alongside an open mic. Doors are at 8 p.m., and you totally have to go, but beware that you might also wander into an "open mic and jam night."
Woolen Men are arguably the best band in Portland, Oregon right now. They retain the strange grit of some of the best West Coast punk — you know, stuff like the Wipers, Dead Moon, the Urinals. The best stuff!
And their live shows are thunderous and energetic. They also have two  distinct songwriters, so you’ll never get bored.
Woolen Men are touring on their second full-length LP, Temporary Monument. See you there!
