Hear a brand new Apollo Brown track, “Not That Guy,” featuring Your Old Droog

Posted By on Wed, Aug 26, 2015 at 11:08 AM

Apollo Brown’s highly anticipated Grandeur album hits store shelves a month from now, on September 25th, via the consistently excellent label Mello Music Group. We're informed by a press release that the Michigan producer enlists an all-star cast of MCs for this album including Your Old Droog, Freddie Gibbs, Oddisee, Rapper Big Pooh, Sean Price, Evidence and many others.

As a preview for the album, check out the single for “Not That Guy” which features NY’s own Your Old Droog. We're a sucker for Clockwork Orange references. The press release states, "Over Apollo Brown’s haunting instrumental, Your Old Droog provides his best Nancy Reagan to dusty heads out there," and if that doesn't make you want to hear the track, I'm not sure we can be friends.
