Check out the excellent, psychedelic video for 'Solar Plexus' by Detroit rapper Tone Pérignon

Posted ten days ago, the first video (that we know of) by Detroit rapper Tone Pérignon deserves a look and a listen. On the YouTube page we're informed that the video "is a brief glimpse into Tone's consciousness," and that "the title comes from one of the seven Hindu chakras, the solar plexus representing fire and the power of transformation." The strobe-o-rific video was directed by Tone with Jordan Reed; the track mixed and produced by HollaGrafik at Hollagrafik Studios.
I didn't know this artist's work before today, despite the fact that he's been prolific the last few years (to judge by his Soundcloud), and I look forward to digging in to the other tracks soon. Detroit has so much talent; it's hard to keep up! He's smart enough to just send along one hype paragraph, and here it is:

Tone Pérignon is an artist, musician, and poet from Detroit, Michigan. Just like the fine champagne, the Pérignon lifestyle is that of luxury — an element Tone seems to capture in every crafted rhyme. Tone embraces Hip-Hop culture and always incorporates the art of sampling when considering production.
