Posted By on Mon, Jul 13, 2015 at 9:52 AM

On the eve of her forty-seventh birthday, Janet Jackson released a video announcing "new music, a new world tour, a new movement." The ensuing 36-date tour date announcement — Jackson's first in four years — initially skipped out on Detroit. Today, Jackson announced an additional 27 stops to the tour, including a Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 stop at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Fans who pre-order the new album on JanetJackson.com will receive presale access for premium seating beginning at 10 a.m. on July 14 until 10 p.m. July 19, before tickets go onsale to the general public. American Express Card Members can also purchase tickets before the public beginning 1t 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14 until 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 19. General public onsale date is July 20.
