Robert Plant's June 9 show rescheduled to Sept. 10 due to laryngitis

Posted By on Mon, Jun 8, 2015 at 10:30 PM

Looks like dancing days will not be here until Sept. 10, as Robert Plant's June 9 show with his Sensational Space Shifters band has been canceled as Mr. Plant has come down with laryngitis, and moved three months in the future, but will still take place at the Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester Hills.

Looks like you have 10 days to get a refund, if you want one — otherwise your ticket will be honored on the new date. The Pixies will not play the September date, but they have announced last minute a show at Saint Andrews' Hall in Detroit on Tuesday, June 9. Tickets are $25 and you can buy them here.

Live Nation regrets to announce that the Robert Plant And The Sensational Space Shifters concert scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th at the Meadow Brook Music Festival is being postponed due to illness. “Sunday morning I woke up with a flu that's developed into laryngitis. I’m really disappointed as I’ve only missed 1 gig in 15 years and now here’s two in a row. It’s heartbreaking. I’m furious, frustrated and silent.”- Robert Plant
