ICYMI: Lydia Lunch talks 'no wave' history at MOCAD

It's sweet when an institution is smart (and properly funded) enough to document their events for posterity. I was searching for any YouTube documentation of the excellent Detroit punk band L-Seven when I saw that this event, which I did not attend, with Lydia Lunch discussing her work and its context within the short-lived but potent no wave movement from New York City in the late 1970s, had been professionally shot and uploaded there.

In the above video, the always enchanting Ms. Lunch talks about this stuff with Weasel Walter. The discussion was later followed by a performance from Lydia Lunch and her band Retrovirus — this was in June of 2014.
