And here we have a fun and heartwarming video for the song "Playtime" off of Death's album N.E.W.!

With the release of archival LP For The Whole World To See and the eye-opening documentary “A Band Called Death,” David, Dannis, and Bobby Hackney of Detroit’s proto-punk band, Death, finally received some much overdue praise for their contribution to the inception of punk rock. Continuing where the band left off, Death’s recently released LP, N.E.W., contains the first collection of new material to be released by the group in decades. Now, Death has shared a new video for the song, “Playtime.” Inspired by the same enthusiasm that prompted N.E.W., the video blends depictions of fans and performances by the band’s current members, Bobby Hackney, Dannis Hackney, and Bobbie Duncan. “We wanted to capture the essence of just plain old Rock 'N' Roll fun,” says Bobby Hackney. “Playing on stage, relaxing, and having fun-Playtime."

N.E.W. is out now via TryAngle (distributed by Drag City). Fans in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York, and Boston can experience Death in person as they play four special shows in support of the new album. Dates are below.
