Woah, check out Jeff Mills' UFO-shaped drum machine

Techno originator Jeff Mills is easily the smartest person I've spoken to in my four and a half months as the music editor for Metro Times.

I'm not surprised to learn that he has created a functional and beautiful UFO-shaped drum machine. Are you?

Resident Advisor, one of the most comprehensive sites on dance music and culture, linked to the thing today. They said this before linking to an original post from yesterday on the 6AM site: 
Assembled for an exhibition in Tokyo, the custom device contains the stripped-out insides of a TR-909 and has a circular interface of heavy-duty buttons and knobs.
