Andrew W.K. headlines Blowout 18 opening party at St Andrews this Wednesday

Posted By on Mon, Apr 27, 2015 at 8:26 AM

Party starter of the universe, supreme columnist to lonelyhearts everywhere, and former Ypsi noise kid, Andrew W.K. headlines the blowout party for Blowout 18, this Wednesday at St. Andrews Hall. Cheerleader, The Beggars and Flint Eastwood open it up. All-Access Wristbands are still only $20. This gets you into every showcase all four nights! These are limited and will be going up to $30 on April 30th. Get yours NOW!! Full Schedule + Tickets: http://mtblowout.com.

Longtime W.K. friend and fellow musician/writer Fred Thomas, who you already know from dozens of bands including Saturday Looks Good To Me, has written an exhilarating cover story on Andrew W.K. for us, so be sure to pick that up on Wednesday. The whole music section is expanded and I'm really happy with it. It's possible that even though W.K. is doing a special solo show, it will still be more high energy and awesome than eight other six piece bands. Only one way to find out — and that's go see it!
