ICYMI: Timbaland tells SXSW crowd that Aaliyah visited him in a dream, told him to sign Tink

If you're like us, perhaps you've been avoiding social media for the past few days. That's because we've been deep in the annual phenomenon known as SXSW, in which seemingly everyone and their mom descends upon Austin, Texas to let us know which bands (and brands) are "killin' it" (though we have been checking out A Guy Called Amir's dispatches).

Anyway, we couldn't pass up on sharing this item: Producer Timbaland took to the stage to tell the crowd that his former collaborator, the late singer Aaliyah, visited him in a dream and told him to sign the Chicago singer Tink. According to Timbaland, the apparition told him that Tink is "the one."
