Local battle rap vet Quest MCody waxes eloquent in new video interview short

Posted By on Sun, Mar 15, 2015 at 8:06 PM

We all know that Detroit has long been a big scene for battle rap; it's woven into the DNA of several of our local rappers, after all.

In a very poignant interview with Rap Grid published this past week, Quest MCody gets deep about how lucky he feels he is, thanks to his talent and the community.

Here's one of his many classic battles posted on YouTube; you could spend many hours just looking at his battles there (and he doesn't always seem to "win," but he's clearly great).

I'm a bit less sure about this video, but here it is.
