800beloved premiere new song tonight (at 8:00 p.m., naturally)

Posted By on Fri, Aug 29, 2014 at 2:08 PM

Milford-based 800beloved will premiere a new song from their forthcoming album tonight on their Soundcloud page. Fitting with the band's numerology, the song will go live at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

It's been more than four years since their last record, and this is the first release from the band since frontman Sean Lynch quit his job working as a cosmetologist at the Milford funeral home to focus on music and art. (The funeral home is run by his father, noted poet and author Thomas Lynch.)

On his Facebook page, Lynch has described the sound of the new record as "intentionally anti-thematic loitering through late summer suburbia ... more tangible and ultra lo-fi."

Check out our interview with Lynch about 800beloved from a few years ago here.
