Posted By on Fri, Dec 27, 2013 at 2:11 PM

This Friday, December 27, the New Dodge Lounge in Hamtramck will host a CD launch party for returning hard rockers Grommet.

According to the New Dodge’s Facebook page, “Grommet's 5th album release show along with very special guests Velveteen Rabbit & Archaic Spatium with ILO & the kung fu lovers. Along with Don't be afraid of Detroit setting up shop for all your wonderful local merch needs. A memorable evening indeed. See you all there. Only $5.

It’s a great bill. As well as the headliners, Velveteen Rabbit “is a 2-7 piece music project based out of Detroit. Founded in 2004 by Sandy C. Hopkins, Camilo Jantti, and Jason Janusch, they have steadily built a body of music and short film.

Meanwhile, Archaic Spatium describes itself as straightforward rock ’n’ roll. There’s certainly lenty going on.
