City Slang: Lizzerd is back

Posted By on Wed, Dec 18, 2013 at 9:34 AM

Local rockers Lizzerd will reunited for a show at the Old Miami in Detroit on January 4.

The original lineup, featuring Anthony Gentile (Jehovah’s Witness Protection Program) and Jheremie Jaque (Zombie Jesus and the Chocolate Sunshine Band), plus members of Err and Sharky & the Habit, recently played together for the first time in a long while at the YpsiFest.

According to Gentile, “It went really well and we are already writing new songs, and I would say we are way better than we were the first time around. Everybody is much more coherent.”

The Old Maimi show also features Snafu, Rawdogs, and Collapse. Doors are at 9 p.m. and cover is $5.
