City Slang: The Rogue Satellites and Anastasia Gold join forces

Posted By on Tue, Dec 17, 2013 at 1:01 PM

Electro-pop duo the Rogue Satellites will join forces with dark cabaret drag queen Anastasia Gold for a killer bill at the Corktown Tavern on Friday, December 27. The bill will also feature Goth-flavored electro rockers Panic or Pain. Doors are at 9, cover is $5.

“The Rogue Satellites are Detroit-based intergalactic synth-rock.The space persons are: Jaye Thomas; verbal/programming/guitar, and Lisa Poszywak; verbal/bells.”

We said, "Anastasia Gold has a Berlin cabaret vibe — part Hedwig and part Liza Minnelli. Maybe a little Edith Piaf too. Certainly, it’s a lot of fun."

Christmas will be over, and this will fill that odd gap before New Year’s Eve.
