City Slang: The Little Steven Amy Gore mystery

Posted By on Fri, Jun 14, 2013 at 4:14 AM

We received a very mysterious message from Amy Gore this week about a show she’s playing on Saturday.

According to the message, Gore and her Valentines will be playing Saturday, June 15 at the Giving Songs Benefit at the Park Bar, Detroit, and a special guest will be joining on steel guitar.

She says, “Giving Songs is a charitable organization run entirely by volunteers that provides resources to families of blind, multi-disabled children. What started out as one family's struggle to understand and bond with their disabled child has become a resource for all families blessed with these children. Learn more: http://www.givingsongs.com. The band and I are proud and excited to play for this charity! Get tickets here, now, they’re only $25 in advance from shop.givingsongs.com.”

Also, “Very cool news coming from the Little Steven camp for our version of the song “Send Me A Postcard”!

Curious and curiouser.
