City Slang: Trick Trick to star in Landlord

Posted By on Fri, Mar 8, 2013 at 11:10 PM

Rapper Trick Trick is in the cast of the movie LandLord, currently shooting in Hamtramck, where the story takes place.

According to the synopsis, “LandLordis a dark thriller with spiritual undertones set in and around Hamtramck. It tells the story of Elvis Martini, a landlord struggling to raise his beloved daughter after her mother’s death —an event that destroyed his religious faith. “LandLORD” is a gripping, neo-noir tale showing that although the road to hell is paved with good intentions, so is the road to redemption—but the latter road is open only to those willing to pay the price.”

Malek Bader is the director, and the story has been written by Nicola Shreli.
