Posted By on Sat, Feb 2, 2013 at 3:59 PM

The 26th Erotic Poetry and Music Festival takes place at the Corktown Tavern in Detroit on February 23 from 9 p.m.

They say, “The festival is an “eclectic celebration of the erotic arts!” It features provocative poetry, dirty spoken word, erotic art, music and dance performances by some of the city's top performers. It promises to be an evening you won’t forget Partial proceeds benefit the Michigan based non-profit organization "Paws with a Cause," who train and provide leader dogs for the disabled.

Performers this year include Audra Kubat (pictured), Jimmy Doom, Chrissy Chaoss, Olive Jus, Blue Dogma Poet-Dena Luckett, Abida Blaze & Blazing Belly Dance, Tara Lazaroff, Scott Boman, Jason Peters, Victoria Frick, and Say Yes Maam.

Art by Chopper Peshkepia-Jeff Hocking-Mike Ratt-Tara Lazaroff, the event is hosted by the Impaler & Peter Schorn, and the sexy wares are by Keeping Secrets.

With the Dirty Show this month too, February is shaping up to be absolutely filthy. Yay.
