City Slang: Behind the Eight Ball

Posted By on Sun, Jan 6, 2013 at 12:49 AM

MotorCityBlog and Most People Are DJs will host a fundraising event on February 8 at the Jazz Café in Detroit called Behind the Eight Ball.

On the bill are the Phantom Shakers, Mexican Knives, the Luckouts, Almost Free, and SPACE BAND.

They say, “For 8 years MOTORCITYBLOG and Most People Are DJs have been documenting Detroit events producing nearly 600 video interviews and podcasts with local and national talent. In celebration of their continued efforts, please join them for “Behind the Eight Ball” featuring five of Detroit’s most talented acts in a fundraiser for the Michigan Humane Society.”

DJ Dietroit will be spinning, and Mark Arminski will have event posters on sale. There will also be a raffle, so don’t be late. Cover is $10, doors are at 7.
