Picky G

Posted By on Tue, Dec 18, 2012 at 10:40 AM

Just a nice new jam for you to enjoy...

Some of the talented jazz/funk fusionists from local soul-celebratin-collective Will Sessions show their sultrier, smooth sliding R&B sides on this flute-fared single, produced by WS-guitarist Ryan Gimbert.

Many of Gimpert's Sessions mates back his up for this debut 7" single for his new label - G-Rated Records.

Allan Barnes (of the Blackbyrds) provides the cool swaggering wisp of the flute atop a buzzing, bubbly bass and fender rhodes - an apt soundtrack to bolster the mystique of a city-lights-glittered night cruise or back at your pad for that re-collecting come-down, the post-last-call slow-dance twist-n-swayed upon some worn shag.
