City Slang: The Sights have a Christmas Waltz

Posted By on Thu, Nov 29, 2012 at 8:51 AM

The Sights will be having a Christmas Waltz in the Magic Stick Lounge on Thursday, December 27.

According to a statement, “It started as a concert idea. It’s becoming a celebration. Be a part of that legend. The Last Waltz was a concert by The Band, held on Thanksgiving Day in 1976. The Last Waltz saw The Band joined by more than a dozen special guests. Like the Last Waltz, The Sights’ Christmas Waltz is a chance to relax and enjoy a celebration of music – lots of special guests performing songs you’ll never hear again with once-in-a-lifetime lineups. The Sights are your hosts for The Christmas Waltz – mind-boggling combinations of musicians mixed together for your amazement and amusement. It'll be like no other Sights' show that has gone before.

Doors are at 9 p.m., and cover is $8.
