The second annual PiratePalooza takes place on June 8 and 9 at the Luna Kai Tiki Bar and Grill in Harrison Township. Live music comes courtesy of Amy Gore & Her Valentines, the Hips, the Orbitsuns, Bocca Musica, Frankie D’Angelo and Match By Match.

Here’s the deets. “his fun pirate festival, concert and party on the shores of Lake St Clair will happen from 7 pm – 2 am on Friday, and 4 pm – 2 am on Saturday. Admission is just $5 for those sporting some kind of pirate wear, and $7 for non-costumed attendees. Kids under the age of 12 get in free and all ages are welcome until 9 pm (21+ after 9pm).”

”PiratePalooza at Luna Kai Tiki Bar and Grill is a one-of-a-kind event combining a unique pirate theme with some of Detroit’s hottest bands. Add some terrific sponsors and the Brethren of the Great Lakes Pirate Society, and top it off with a beautiful lakeside setting plus a delicious pirate-themed menu! The Jolly Roger will be flying at Luna Kai/Gino's Surf’s tropical oasis on the shores of Lake St. Clair with two days of pirate merriment, live music, cool vendors, Admiral Nelson’s Rum and Tito’s Vodka drink specials, and plenty of fun!”

Aye aye.
