City Slang: Join our Turntable community

Posted By on Sat, Sep 24, 2011 at 3:06 PM

City Slang now has a room set up with the ever-growing Turntable application. Click here to join.

For the unfamiliar, Turntable is like a social version of Pandora. One you are signed in, you set up a playlist and then five people at a time take turns spinning songs. Any number of people are allowed in the City Slang room (or any of the other rooms) at any one time, but only five people can step up to the little turntable icons and spin.

It’s a great way to introduce new songs to friends. Step in and have fun.

The only additional rule for our City Slang room is that you have to play Detroit-area songs. Feel free to play metal, punk, techno, funk, hip-hop, R&B, classical or opera, but the performers have to have a Metro Detroit link.

Let’s make this thing something huge, Share the link with friends, and let’s show the world why Detroit music is the greatest.
