Eminem, Mayer Hawthorne & Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Confirmed For Lollapalooza

Posted By on Tue, Apr 26, 2011 at 2:03 AM

After it was rumored a few months back that Eminem would grab a headlining slot at the 20th incarnation of Lollapalooza, it was made official at midnight, that Em, along with Foo Fighters, Muse, and Coldplay will headline the 3-day Chicago festival.  Fellow Detroiter's Mayer Hawthorne and The County and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. along with a few dozen others round out the lineup that is set to take place August 5-7th in Grant Park. Check the full lineup here.

In addition to taking top billing at both Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, it was announced yesterday that Eminem (along with D12) will headline  the inaugural Kanrocksas Festival in Kansas City.

For an Em flashback check MT's 2009  interview here, as Bill Holdship gets Marshall talking on Detroit, Proof,  Elton John,  Glenn Beck and the fact that Elvis could really fucking dance.
