Danny Brown Interview on FADER TV

Posted By on Tue, Jan 11, 2011 at 2:56 PM

Here's an interview that Detroit rapper Danny Brown did with the folks at FADER magazine during CMJ in New York this past October. The interview should've come out awhile ago but publications are on tight budgets and when you've only got one person handling video, things take awhile.

Nonetheless, Danny was completely himself chatting about his early days in New York's hip-hop scene, cunnilingus, and being an internet rapper (shout outs to Lil B!). I checked in via phone with the person who actually did the interview, ace writer/editor Julianne Escobedo Shepherd, and she recalled that Danny was utterly fascinating in person and remembered that unlike every other rapper she's had to deal with who dropped by the FADER office, Danny actually showed up early. Who knew Linwood's best emcee is business first?
