Magestik Legend -- The Great Escape Trailer

Posted By on Fri, Nov 19, 2010 at 2:38 PM

Just yesterday, I was looking at some killer photos of late actor Steve McQueen as he was preparing to star in the classic 1963 film The Great Escape. No matter who you are, your cool factor does not, or will ever,  mirror McQueen's. Believe it. But then I started thinking, can Detroit rapper Magestik Legend's upcoming album, The Great Escape, be classic? And what's the reasoning behind calling the album that anyway?

Lo and behold, Magestik Legend dropped a trailer (gotta love it) for his album today and speaks significantly about why he named his album what he did, and even offers up some freestyle a cappellas to whet yer appetite.

Magestik Legend's The Great Escape drops November 20th online and features Guilty Simpson, Kam Moye, Buff 1, DJ Rhettmatic, 14KT and others. Physical copies hit stores November 30th. And I just got word this morning that Magestik Legend is tying in his album release party with Crown Royale's album release, which I mentioned yesterday, for a hip-hop soiree of sorts December 9th in Ann Arbor at the Blind Pig. That show is only $5 in advance. Good Lord. Check out the flier for that show after the jump.
