Two New Magestik Legend "Leaks" Hit the Web

Posted By on Thu, Oct 14, 2010 at 12:19 PM

It's never clear why they call these tunes "leaks" when they're really just early singles. But if you dig getting your ears wrapped around music before it's scheduled release date, you'll appreciate the two new tracks from Michigan rapper Magestik Legend. He's putting out a project called To Be Continued... Chapter 2 hosted by Rapper Big Pooh as a free, downloadable mp3 next week. The fact that Big Pooh of the recently disbanded group Little Brother is hosting this mixtape is a good sign and shows that Magestik Legend is getting nationally recognized as he should. Check out two of the songs that will be featured on that release below. Both are produced by M.L.'s go-to producer of the moment, Astronote.

To Be Continued... Chapter 2 is a prequel to Legend's upcoming new album, The Great Escape, which drops on November 30. With guest appearances on the full length ranging from Kam Moye, 14 KT, DJ Rhettmatic, and Guilty Simpson, it'll definitely be an early stocking stuffer if you're into pagan holidays.
