Insane Clown Posse! Ice Cube! Vanilla Ice! Coolio! Esham & Natas, Gwar, Paradime on one stage. Huh?

Posted on Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 10:15 AM

No shit. Dozens of glorious has-beens, never-wases and flat-out greats kill at the 10th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Cave In Rock, IL. this Thursday through Sunday. Lots of stunner porno ginch, too ... and creepy clown-faced chub. Plus freakshow (and superstar) wrastlin', dirty-girl mud-slingin' the "Human Cannonball," 'copter rides, "Love Train" hay rides, carnival rides, DJ battles, Stilt Walkers, something called "Hog Daddy's Giant Hellride ...," strolling hypnotists, angry drunks, tons of deep-fried fat, pizza and a shitload of outhouses. Ah, the sweet sweet aroma of proletarian shenanigans.

Think of it as the (Isle of) Woodstock, circa 2009; all the filth, none of the hippies. The ICP-launched Gathering of the Juggalos is also built upon a platform of pure underground spirit and sweat and it'll be more fun than 10 Lollapaloozas. You'll also find Motor City rap trailblazer Awesome Dre is a rare appearance.
