The benefit show for one of the local music scene's favorite people, Jim Shaw, is coming up on February 7th at the Magic Stick. Much more on that later. In the meantime, however, we thought it would be cool to post that, among other very cool things, Jack and Meg White have donated the drumset they used in the White Stripes' "The Hardest Button To Button" video to be part of a very large (and growing) auction that's part of the benefit.. The drums will be auctioned exclusively through eBay via an online store that's been set up in the name of Shaw, who's unfortunately battling cancer without health insurance.
