SILVERGHOST HEAD TO SILVERLAKE AND BEYOND...

Posted By on Fri, Aug 22, 2008 at 6:33 PM

Our friends Deleano and Marcie who comprise Silverghost have been a busy pair as of late. Not only are they headlining/closing the final night of the Summer Smash festival (see item below) tomorrow night, August 23rd, at the CAID

and not only did they just release their first 7-inch single on Dave Buick’s Italy Records (produced by Warn Defever of His Name is Alive; watch the print edition of MT for an upcoming review) — but the electro-rockin’ duo have been personally asked by curators Sean Carlson and Keith Morris (of Circle Jerks fame) to play the F Yeah Fest in Los Angeles next weekend on August 30th and 31st.. The group scheduled a West Coast tour to coincide with the festival, and will be playing at some great venues, including Silverlake’s legendary Spaceland, the Cinespace (with Steve Akoi) and the Casbah in San Diego. Congratulations, dude and dudette. Phone home soon!
