Congratulations to Doug Podell and the folks at Detroit’s own 101 WRIF, which just won the National Association of Broadcasters “HD Radio Multicast” award for its “Riff 2” multicast channel. The other award went to KBCO in Denver. The two were the first stations to ever receive the awards, which will be presented by NAB President and CEO David K. Rehr during his keynote address on Thursday, Sept. 27, at The NAB Radio Show in Charlotte, NC.
